Video rental has been attached with the US culture for over 30 years, yet Redbox has been successful in establishing its presence in the market as well as in the industry just within the period of last 5 years. The marketing strategies adopted by Redbox emphasizes mostly on customer acquisition and increasing distribution. Marketers decided on using the color red to attract people’s attention for about a decade since its inception since red is the color which one’s eyes recognize faster.
